18839 are working with a major player in the iGaming industry who are seeking a Regional Director for Asia to join the Regional Management Team. The successful candidate will develop, lead and manage the B2B commercial activities for the business and implement an innovative, growth focused commercial strategy for Asia market. Specifically, this is with regards overseeing and developing the Asia Sales Team pipeline, driving revenues from the region but also be accountable for local Office Setup, Account Management and Marketing functions ensuring a strong presence of the company at all viable regional trade shows and events. This role is absolutely central to business growth and reports to the Head of International Offices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a thorough understanding of company products as well as competing products and services (including strengths, weaknesses, and pricing).
• Build, manage and maintain a substantial pipeline of new business and ensure a smooth set up and onboarding process of deals, with a good handover to the other teams in the organization.
• Respond to queries, tenders, RFPs, and other requests for information in a timely manner and ensure that all sales opportunities are fully captured and fully explored.
• Develop sales forecasts, financial objectives and business plans for the region. Make recommendations to reduce any variances versus budget and provide additional timely feedback as appropriate.
• Ensure that all internal company procedures/policies are documented and followed.
• Investigate and create opportunities to enhance the achievement of organizational objectives.
• Participate in internal review meetings to ensure that partner performance improvement initiatives and developments are being prioritized and progressed as appropriate, communicating with, and managing partner expectations as required.
• Liaise with and keep informed about other key business areas such as integration support, service delivery and
product development so that Business Development plans and requirements are fully understood.
• Reporting on the weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to the company management on performance of the team.
• Be actively involved in candidate qualification and hiring as needed.
• Mentoring and supporting the team to achieve business goals and targets and ensuring industry and market knowledge of the team is kept up to date.
• Drive a culture of achievement and acknowledge input from others.
• Develop personal development plans that consider capability, strengths and opportunities for development for others.
• Work closely with the Marketing Department to develop regional campaigns to local industry events.

Essential Requirements:

• Educated to Degree level or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the online gaming industry with a focus on B2B sales or business development.
• Experience in building/managing teams, including sales, account management.
• Ability to clearly express oneself in both the English and Chinese languages. Proficiency in other Asian languages additionally will be considered as an advantage.
• Extensive Knowledge of the iGaming industry and a deep knowledge of sports betting technology platforms and regulation.
• Established network of executive and decision-making personnel in gaming industry in particular the region you will manage.
• Strong networking and relationship building skills with ability to communicate to all levels of management internally and externally.
• Exposure to working in a global environment and international markets with significant experience growing commercial business in the region you will manage.
• Ability to collaborate with teams and build positive relationships across groups of various functions.
• Excellent time management skills coupled with the ability to prioritize activities accordingly within a fast-paced changeable environment.
• The ability to think both analytically and creatively and always seek to identify solutions rather than problems.
• Result driven, self-motivated, extremely well organized and attentive to details. Comfortable with working according to deadlines and strict targets.
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of the business and customer experience benefits and consequences of technical decisions.
• A strategic mindset with proven ability to problem solve and drive issues through a timely resolution.
• Willingness to travel internationally (sometimes at short notice).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence).
