BettingJobs.com are working with an established operator who have been active for nearly 25 years. Our client are looking for a remote-based FP&A Analyst. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the Analyst will be responsible for providing senior management and executives with the analysis and data they need to make informed operation, financial, and strategic decision. This will include provision of monthly reports, critical review and interpretation of results, and value-add analysis, in tandem with the Business Intelligence team and other Finance functions.

Key Requirements:

● Financial Reporting: Support the production of insightful monthly/quarterly management and operational reports, as well as ad hoc analyses, under strict deadlines
● Assist the FP&A Manager and the BI teams in the development and ongoing monitoring of the annual budget, forecasts, and business cases. Identify and provide context for significant variances from same
● Help to identify, assess and contrast various opportunities and risks within the group, and lead cost analyses to help determine true ROI
● Assist and provide support for various financial audit processes. Be the SME for complex financial queries and where to source financial data and projections
● Partner with the business intelligence (BI) and data governance (DG) teams to become a centre of excellence for analytics within the organization

Essential Requirements:

● Quantitative background, inquisitive, and detail-oriented
● Familiarity with basic accounting principles. Strong intra-personal skills; able to liaise with cross-functional stakeholders at various levels (from C-suite to junior analysts). Able to challenge the conventional wisdom in a constructive fashion
● Analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
● Written and oral communication skills. Fluency in written and spoken English
● Organizational skills to identify, prioritize and meet deadlines
● Comfortable working with remote teams across various time-zones & cultural backgrounds

Knowledge & Experience:

● 2+ years in a finance, analysis or planning-related role
● University degree in Finance, Commerce, Mathematics or related discipline
● Proficient with Excel
● Experience with an enterprise accounting/ERP system (e.g. Microsoft, Oracle, SAP…)
● Professional accounting certification is an asset but not required
● Background in iGaming is an asset but not required
