Betting Jobs are working with a very well-established iGaming/sportsbook Operator who have offices in several locations including Malta and London. They are looking for a FP&A Manager.

Job Purpose:

Operating within the Finance team, the FP&A Manager will be responsible for running a reliable and responsive Financial Planning and Analysis function that provides all levels of the organization with timely, accurate, relevant management information. This will include provision of monthly reports, critical review and interpretation of results, and value-add analysis, in tandem with the Business Intelligence team and other Finance functions.

Essential Job Functions / Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Lead the production of insightful monthly, quarterly management reports and ad hoc analyses, under strict deadlines
• Coach and develop a team of 2 FP&A analysts. Work with the Director to help to set the direction and objectives of the team
• Assist the CFO, other executives, and department heads in the development and ongoing monitoring of the annual budget, forecasts, and business cases. Identify and provide context for significant variances from same
• Help to identify & assess opportunities and risks within the group, and lead various cost analyses to help determine true ROI
• Assist and provide support for various financial audit processes. Be the SME for complex financial queries and where to source financial data and projections
• Partner with the business intelligence (BI) and data governance (DG) teams to become a center of excellence for analytics within the organization

Skills & Qualifications:

• Quantitative background, preferably in Finance or Economics
• Strong intra-personal skills; able to liaise with cross-functional stakeholders at various levels (from board members to junior analysts). Able to elicit buy-in or challenge the conventional wisdom in a constructive fashion
• Business acumen - knowledge of accounting guidelines, principles and procedures
• Analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Written and oral communication skills. Fluency in written and spoken English
• Organizational skills to identify, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working/managing remote teams across various timezones & cultural backgrounds

Knowledge & Experience:

• 3+ years of financial planning and analysis experience
• University degree in Finance, Commerce, Mathematics or related discipline
• Proficient with Excel
• Previous hands-on budget and forecast experience
• Experience with an enterprise accounting/ERP system (e.g. Microsoft, Oracle, SAP…)
• Professional accounting certification is an asset but not required
• Background in iGaming is an asset but not required
