Betting Jobs are working with a very well-established iGaming aggregator who are based in Malta, Gibraltar, Sofia, India and Israel. They are looking to add to their growing finance team with this important Senior Accountant position.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining of accurate records of financial transactions in the ERP system;
- Preparation of payment run in multiple jurisdictions;
- Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, including but not limited to: banking, customer, vendor, accruals, etc.
- Processes payroll documents and prepares payroll reports
- Month-end close: prepare the trial balance and other material for the monthly closing of the company books
- Involved in collating information for budget purposes and their reporting;
- Participation in the preparation of the vat/tax returns and financial reports;
- Maintaining and preparing accounting internal controls;
- Assistance with respect to the company’s statutory and tax audits;
- Working in tandem with the company's finance team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or ACCA certificate
- At least 3 years of experience
- Knowledge of accounting and tax legislation
- Familiar with local employment law
- Proven experience in monthly and year-end closing
- Experience in "Priority" or other ERP system is considered an advantage
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Experience in excel
- Well organized, motivated, with the ability to work with limited supervision
