BettingJobs is working with an award-winning agency that's remained at the forefront of digital marketing for over 20 years. They are recruiting for a knowledge executive role and looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven and personable candidate who is keen to learn and grow within our successful business development team.
You will work to clearly define targets and your performance will be measured and reviewed with the support of your team and relevant training.
You will report into the New Business Manager and Marketing Manager and will be expected to contribute to the team and agencies short-term plans and long-term vision.
Once you join the agency, a basic understanding of our mission, promise, purpose and values is key. Being able to sell this to clients in a professional and engaging manner will be key.
The successful candidate will support the agency via phone and desk research in:
• Building relationships with prospects through researching new clients, sectors and markets;
• Securing attendees to our webinars and events;
• Gathering intelligence on growth sectors and markets
• Understanding our best-in-class case studies
• Updating sales materials such as agency credentials.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:
• Whilst this is not a sales role, the ideal candidate will have experience in liaising and building relationships with warm and cold prospects over the phone (2 years experience – please expect to be asked about your experience: particularly call targets and success rates in the interview);
• Verbal communication skills are important – including active listening ability;
• On the ball and observant to identify opportunities for the agency;
• Analytical to accurately capture relevant details from your findings and the conversations you have;
• Detail orientated, driven and resilient in a fast-paced environment;
• Extremely good time management and communication skills;
• Experience and/or interest in Digital Marketing or Advertising
• Knowledge of Sports Betting & iGaming and/or Financial Services is preferable but not integral
• Experience using tools such as Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Outlook, CRM systems and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Hours – full-time
37.5 hours per week with flexi-hours available. We typically work three days in our Bedford office and 2 days remote.
