As a leader, heading our development teams, your main responsibility will be to support and manage the multi-talents of our Internal development teams to reach periodically set goals and thereby our long-term goals. You will empower your team to perform to their highest potential. In addition, you will be responsible for recruiting and retaining the right talent by acting as a true role model following our core values.


As the Software Development Manager, you own a set of development teams focusing their expertise on different products, areas, and verticals. These teams are responsible for delivering world-class technology platforms and building cutting-edge features to make us the number one affiliate worldwide;
Represent Central Development and its enterprise products to the organization. You are the voice of Central Development inside and outside the company, sharing its work, evangelizing its success, articulating its vision - making sure Development is seen as crucial to the company’s long-term success;
Working with the Group Head of Central Technology to set short- and long-term strategies for the department and identify requirements for growth;
Instill a high quality, product-centric engineering culture to all Central Development teams;
Grow a positive value-based working environment and team spirit culture;
Manage the central technology development function, including development teams, the QA team, and software architects.
Implement mechanisms to monitor, manage and provide progress on all software development activities;
Accountable for the on-time and on quality delivery of software development projects with Central development;
Drive the general products’ vision following the company goals and KPIs;
Manage the departmental budget and license management for everything Development related such as third-party tools and services for the company;
Recruit, lead, and mentor A-grade technical talent;
Identify and provide training to the team to foster the growth of individual and team capabilities;
Build a strong, collaborative communication framework between departments and global verticals;
Be an active part of the middle managers' forum and drive cross-departmental initiatives;
Manifest an agile organizational structure that can react quickly to changes within the company and the industry;
Identify opportunities from acquisition, automation, and innovation aspects to feed to the platform products for implementation;
Other tasks may be assigned, based on business needs and the department supervisor's request.

Managing team performance effectively through the practicing of ongoing performance management, including conducting performance reviews and regular 1-1 meetings.
Leading by example by delivering positive results and being a visible ambassador.
Communicating effectively and ensuring information is delivered in a clear and timely manner.
Take ownership of recruitment and selection for your team by working closely with HRBPs and TA teams.
Enabling team and individual growth from the induction stage to ongoing learning and development.


Be a natural leader with proven experience in leading high-performance technology teams;
Experience in selecting and implementing various development methodologies (agile/scrum/kanban) whilst following the ITILv4 framework;
A solid work ethic and professional attitude that will serve as an example to direct reports and teams;
A strong technical background, preferably with experience in a similar role;
Excellent communicator with good presentation skills and ability to present to executive leadership when needed;
Ability to balance technical knowledge with business opportunity and ability to present technical solutions to non-technical audiences in a simple, structured way;
Excellent stakeholder management skills in both a technical and non-technical environment;
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a technology field.
