We're working with a growing provider of services to the online betting and gaming industry, making a key leadership hire at an important period for the business.
You will work very closely with the owners of the business to define and execute the long term strategy for the business, which is growing exponentially. You will be hands on and build the financial function within the business as well as managing the FP&A, forecasting and financial reporting.
Lead and inform all aspects of the organisation in relation to financial accountabilities, deliverables, risks and budgetary requirements.
Financial Planning and Analysis: Providing insight to guide strategic decision making and the operational future, taking ownership of key financial processes such as financial forecasting, business plans, budgeting, modelling tools and KPI reporting.
Commercial Acumen: Supporting the Partners in driving and leading commercial negotiations and contractual discussions with clients and affinity/trusted suppliers and partners
Legal, Business Cases and Proposals: Support of our commercial proposals and contracts to ensure Business Cases are sound and our agreements are advantageous and avoid unnecessary risk.
Operating Territories: Lead and support strategic and tactical financial requirements across all operating jurisdictions including the UK and Malta.
Financial Planning and Schedules: Lead and deliver the coordination and preparation of the annual Business Plan and the preparation of financial schedules to support the monthly operating reports.
Forecasting: Creating accurate projections for the Partners and Leadership team to ensure they are as precise and measurable as possible.
Strategy: Work with the CEO and partners to shape the overall strategy and direction of the finance function and the operational business.
Risk control and Audit: Preserving the assets of the organization by minimizing risk and managing the accounts globally. Responsible for financial controls and auditing.

A professionally recognised senior-level finance professional with a deep knowledge of their domain. Experience and exposure within a consultancy and/or gaming industry environment would be preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited school is required.
A proven track record of holding a senior financial position within a fast-growth start-up, with previous online gaming experience being advantageous.
Previous experience running the financial elements of a multi-jurisdictional company including the UK and Malta.
Solid commercial acumen and extensive experience in leading and implementing budget and forecasting cycles.
Able to communicate effectively at all levels within the business from junior team members right up to board level and external partners, both in writing and verbal.
Experience FP&A, MI, financial systems, cash management, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting.
An adaptable, flexible, diligent, pragmatic, and trusted member of the financial community.
An expert communicator with the ability to inspire confidence and gain stakeholder commitment from Senior Executives within our client base and affinity partners.
