BettingJobs is partnering with an established iGaming company based in Sofia who are seeking a Senior Football Trading Manager to join their team.
As the Senior Football Trading Manager, you will collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategies for a market leading B2B Football trading proposition, optimising margins and trading strategies across multiple global brands.

This role is well suited to an individual with a strong passion for Football, proven leadership skills, and strong experience in a sports trading role.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver a market-leading Football trading proposition for football operators globally, managing odds and ensuring compliance with operator requirements.
• Lead and mentor a team of Football Traders, driving high performance and aligning team KPIs with overall company targets.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategies for a market leading B2B Football trading proposition, optimizing margins and trading strategies across multiple global brands.
• Oversee real-time odds delivery for football, both pre-matches, in-play and ante-post. This will involve odds derived from feed providers and internal algorithmic and manual trading.
• Monitor odds feed health, football event coverage, ensuring market accuracy and timely interventions when needed.
• Drive and monitor internal team processes including real-time bet noting, stake factoring of individual Football players and implementing odds changes where necessary to protect Football margin.
• Lead a high-performing team of Football Traders, ensuring alignment with company KPIs, fostering a results-driven culture, and providing necessary tools and resources.
• Develop and maintain profitability reports, collaborating with BI teams to track football P&L performance, and conduct benchmarking for competitive pricing strategies.
• Drive profitability through manual odds compilation and benchmarking of trading strategies, while ensuring effective reporting on football P&L performance.
• Work cross-functionally with content, marketing, and Sportsbook Support teams to ensure timely and proper event displays, optimize trading processes, and meet partner requirements.
• Raise feature requests for product enhancements, manage customer queries, and continuously improve trading functionality and service delivery.

 Requirements:

• Strong financial acumen with extensive experience in odds compilation and trading KPIs.
• Deep expertise in Football trading, betting rules and a thorough understanding of football markets, including derivative markets, trends, and innovations.
• Customer-focused, balancing profitability control with partner needs, and demonstrating initiative to anticipate requests.
• Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail, ensuring football trading margin optimization through data-driven decision-making.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, capable of overseeing a 24/7 operation, with flexibility to accommodate peak periods, including evenings and weekends.
