    Payments Manager

    BettingJobs is working with leading online casino operator with a robust presence in the Asian market who are looking for a Payments Manager to join their team based remotely.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee daily payment operations, ensuring smooth, compliant processing of deposits and withdrawals.
    • Monitor transactions for accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to company and regulatory standards.
    • Resolve payment issues quickly in coordination with customer support and tech teams.
    • Identify and implement new payment solutions for Asian markets (e-wallets, bank transfers, crypto, etc.).
    • Manage relationships and negotiations with PSPs, banks, and fintech partners.
    • Lead integration of new payment methods with product and tech teams.
    • Implement and maintain anti-fraud systems to mitigate financial risk.
    • Analyse transaction data to detect anomalies and support investigations.
    • Partner with compliance and security teams to uphold KYC/AML standards.
    • Stay current on regional payment regulations, licensing, and AML directives.
    • Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory reporting.
    • Produce regular reports on payment KPIs, trends, and customer behaviour.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to management for continuous improvement.
    • Support customer service teams on payment-related queries and enhance the overall payment experience.

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years’ experience in payments management within iGaming or online casino, focusing on Asian markets.
    • In-depth knowledge of Asian payment systems and regulations (e.g., Alipay, WeChat Pay, Paytm, local transfers).
    • Experience with PSPs, gateways, and transaction monitoring tools.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
    • Solid grasp of KYC/AML procedures and regional compliance standards.
    • Proven ability to build and manage payment provider relationships.
    • Excellent communication skills; fluent in English plus one Asian language (Mandarin, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, etc.).
    • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and effective in fast-paced, multicultural settings.
    • Willingness to travel across Asia for meetings and conferences.

    Nice to Have:

    • Experience with crypto payment integrations.
    • Familiarity with advanced fraud detection tools.
    • Background in fintech or e-commerce payments in Asia.
    • Established network within Asian PSPs and financial institutions.
