What a week in London! Last week brought a pleasant surprise to us at Bettingjobs as we arrived in London to find lovely, warm weather. The sunshine set a positive tone for iGB Live, mirroring the event’s vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. From inspiring conversations to new connections, the BettingJobs team thoroughly enjoyed their time in London. Here’s a quick look at what we got up to over three busy days at iGB Live.

Starting Strong: Kicking Off Our Days with ‘Behind the Gloves’

Beginning the day with a Behind The Gloves class has become part of our routine at conferences. We began each day in London with energy and focus, making it the perfect way to kick off our mornings and set the tone for the action-packed days ahead.

Our CEO Jennifer Innes and Associate Director Carla Souter , attended the classes, and Carla said;

“It really does feel like the best way to start the day – it allows you to be in a great mindset to attack the day and make the most of the time at the conference!”

Stand N70📍

One of the highlights of iGB Live is always reconnecting with familiar faces and building new relationships across the industry, and this year was no exception. At our stand, N70, we created a little hub of Scottish hospitality, complete with our signature Tunnock’s Tea Cakes and Caramel Wafers, which once again proved to be crowd favourites! We love sharing a taste of home at every conference we attend, so be sure to stop by and say hello at future iGaming events – we never arrive empty-handed!

We had two debuts at iGB this year, as Recruitment Consultant Graeme Cuthbertson and Marketing and Social Media Co-Ordinator Cara Henderson attended their first iGaming conference. Speaking after the event, Cara said;

“Coming into iGB, I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but it exceeded what I believed. For my first conference, everything was really easy to find, and it was great to see so many people and learn what these events have to offer!”

Recruitment Consultant Graeme Cuthbertson added, “Attending my first iGaming conference was an eye-opening experience, in a great way. It was so good to finally put faces to names and create more connections.”

It is important to unwind in the moments outwith the conference, and the team in London enjoyed some great food and better company. We managed to catch England playing in their Last 32 World Cup game against the Democratic Republic of Congo – an interesting experience being Scottish and surrounded by so many England fans… we won’t tell you who we wanted to win!
