As the jet lag settles and we readjust to life back in Scotland, we\u2019ve been reflecting on what was a fun and highly productive trip stateside for Next.io<\/a> in New York City.<\/p>\n

In attendance at the summit were our Associate Director, Carla Souter, and Senior Recruitment Consultant, Jonathan Revie-Singh – both of whom maximised the opportunity to meet new people, reconnect, and develop relationships with candidates and clients.<\/p>\n

\n

\ud83c\udf06 A Week of Connections & Conversations<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both Carla and Jonathan ensured they had busy schedules filled with meetings, networking opportunities, and industry discussions. It was a fantastic chance to connect with professionals across the iGaming space.<\/p>\n

With the US market continuing to evolve at pace, being on the ground and having face-to-face conversations proved invaluable. Jonathan Revie-Singh<\/a>added;<\/p>\n

\u201cAttending Next.io<\/a> in New York was an amazing experience for me and Carla; we had some fantastic conversations with existing and potential clients about the industry and emerging trends in both iGaming and recruitment.\u201d<\/p>\n

\ud83e\udd4a Starting Strong<\/strong><\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t all meetings and conferences\u2026<\/p>\n

The team kicked things off with a session at the Behind The Gloves<\/a> boxing class – this inititiave is something we have really come to value and feel the benefits of each time. An early start gave us the energy to take on the day properly.\"Article<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\ud83c\udfc0 Experiencing New York<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alongside the business side of the trip, there was also time to experience what New York City has to offer.<\/p>\n

From enjoying the city\u2019s incredible food scene with clients to attending an NBA game between the Brooklyn Nets and Detroit Pistons, it was a brilliant atmosphere and a great way to connect outside of the conference setting – despite the Pistons emphatically beating the home team!\"Article<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cWe were able to show clients some of what the New York dining scene has to offer and got to attend a Brooklyn Nets game (unfortunately they suffered a heavy defeat). I look forward to next year, where hopefully we can do the same again.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\ud83e\udd1d A Trip Worth Making<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are delighted to have had the opportunity to attend Next.io<\/a>, between valuable meetings, meaningful conversations, and quality time spent with clients, the trip proved highly beneficial.\"Article<\/p>\n

Our attendance at events like this is imperative, as it highlights the importance of being visible in key markets, speaking face-to-face, and staying on top of industry trends.<\/p>\n

Associate Director Carla Souter<\/a> notes; “Next.io<\/a> was a stand-out event full of meaningful discussions with the rise of prediction markets, sweepstakes and the targeted 2026 legalisation of iGaming in Alberta being the hot topics.”<\/p>\n
