Last week was a busy one for the BettingJobs team, with members of our team spread across two continents as we headed to SBC Lisbon and G2E Las Vegas.

From packed days of meetings and conversations to industry events, team activities and plenty of time catching up with familiar faces, it was a brilliant week for connecting with the iGaming community.

Our CEO Jennifer Innes, reflecting on an important week said;

“Last week was a fantastic reflection of what makes our industry so special. Having our team across Lisbon and Las Vegas gave us the opportunity to reconnect with long-standing clients, meet new people and have some really valuable conversations about the future of online gaming.

It was also a great opportunity to celebrate the industry, whether at SBC, G2E, or the Global Gaming Awards. A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to meet with us, stop by the stand or join us throughout the week. We’re already looking forward to the next one.”

🇵🇹 SBC Lisbon

Our team were out in force at SBC Lisbon, with Stand A511 providing the perfect base for meetings with clients, candidates and industry contacts throughout the week. And, of course, we couldn’t head to Lisbon without bringing a little piece of Scotland with us. 🍫

Director John O’Neill, who was in Lisbon, described a positive experience at the conference;

“I have said it before but I always find SBC a really valuable event to attend and this year was no different.

The event itself was very well organised, with some great people in attendance. It was great to see so much creativity and forward thinking across the industry, the future of iGaming is certainly bright.”

It was also important for the team to take some time to unwind and enjoy everything Lisbon had to offer beyond the conference itself. From seeing The Script live to enjoying some great food together, the team made the most of their time in the city.

“My first experience of SBC Lisbon certainly didn’t disappoint!” Scott McMillan added. “It was a fantastic week meeting as many people as possible, catching up with industry contacts and making new connections.

Outside the conference, I also enjoyed exploring Lisbon with my colleagues… seeing The Script live was a particular highlight of the trip.”

🇺🇸 G2E Las Vegas

Meanwhile, Jennifer Innes and Carla Souter were representing BettingJobs stateside at G2E Las Vegas.

With three busy days at The Venetian Expo, the event provided another fantastic opportunity to meet with clients and contacts from across the industry and get a closer look at the latest developments shaping gaming and iGaming.

It was also a particularly memorable week as BettingJobs joined the Global Gaming Awardsas a Silver Sponsor. The luncheon provided a great opportunity to celebrate the people and businesses making an impact across the industry, while spending time with the guests joining us at our table.

Outwith the expo, Carla and Jen showed jet lag who was boss as they were up bright and early at 7:30am for a boxing class with Behind The Gloves! 🥊

There was just one small problem when they arrived the gym was still closed! Along with the other members of the class, they weren’t going to let that stop them, so they braved the rain and got stuck into some shuttle runs while they waited for the doors to open.

Once again, a great way to start the day! 👊
