It’s been an exciting week at BettingJobs, with our team making the most of new opportunities at home and abroad. In this edition, we’ll share how Associate Director Carla Souter is supporting Scotland at the World Cup in the USA, highlight our CEO Jennifer Innes’s recent business trip to meet clients in Leeds and attend the iGaming Roundtable, and give you a preview of our plans for iGB Live in London next week, where we are looking forward to meeting many of our candidates and clients face-to-face.
Tartan Army Takes Boston: Scotland at the World Cup.
Carla Souter, our Associate Director, is currently in the USA, bringing her Scottish spirit to the World Cup and proudly supporting the national team. After arriving in Boston on Thursday night, she quickly found herself immersed in the excitement as Scottish fans took over the city ahead of Scotland’s second World Cup game against Morocco on Friday night.
Reflecting on her experience so far, Carla said:
“The atmosphere out here has been amazing to be part of! There is such an overwhelming sense of community – seeing so many Scotland tops, kilts, and hearing bagpipes playing has been joyous and so much fun.”
With the World Cup now into its second week, the tournament has more than lived up to expectations. In case you missed it, we recently spoke to three industry experts about how the World Cup can influence betting behaviours.

From BettingJobs HQ to Leeds: Business meetings and iGaming Roundtable Meet-Up
Our CEO, Jennifer Innes, travelled to Leeds for a few days filled with business meetings, office visits, and industry networking, culminating in attending the iGaming Roundtable: Operators Meet Suppliers discussion. It was a fantastic opportunity to engage with industry peers, exchange insights, and build new relationships across the sector.
“It was wonderful to connect in person and hear directly from operators and suppliers about their current challenges, without viewing everything solely through a recruitment lens.”
Visiting offices gave us genuine insight into the teams and cultures we support. The iGaming Roundtable sparked open conversations between operators and suppliers about the latest trends and challenges, making Jennifer’s Leeds trip both productive and refreshing.
Next Stop: iGB London 2026!
Looking ahead, our team is gearing up for iGB Live in London next week. We are eager to connect with fellow professionals, discuss the latest trends in the iGaming space, and explore new talent opportunities for our clients and candidates. We will be at stand N70 on Level 1, so please pop by… you might even be treated to a traditional Scottish biscuit!
Our Senior Recruitment Consultant, Jonathan Revie-Singh wanted to highlight the importance of iGB to our team;
We always look forward to our time at iGB events, and this year at the Excel in London promises to be just as wonderful. It’s a fantastic chance to meet face-to-face and foster meaningful connections.”
CEO Jennifer Innes will be there on the Wednesday, alongside Associate Director Carla Souter. Senior Recruitment Consultant Jonathan Revie-Singh will attend, along with our consultants David Rooney, Jack Finnie and Graeme Cuthbertson. Finally, on Wednesday, our Marketing and Social Media Manager, Cara Henderson, will be at the conference. If you haven’t already, please get in touch with a member of our recruitment team to organise a time to meet at the event.
See you on the 1st/2nd of July in London! 🇬🇧
